The president unveiled his budget plan this week. He wants to cut defense by $100 billion. That’s likely to result in a lot of theatrics, says Gordon Adams. He’s a professor of International Relations at American University and he’s been named one of the most influential people in U.S. defense by Defense News. Adams held a senior national security position in the Clinton White House. He’s also an accomplished thespian. And, as he told CPR’s Elaine Grant, he’s connecting these two passions this week in Boulder at the Conference on World Affairs.
